The ICBC is a private-sector, non-profit, membership driven organization, established to foster, facilitate and promote better commercial, industrial and financial relationships between Iraq and Canada. The ICBC consists of Iraqi - Canadian members eager to help rebuild the new democratic Iraq by promoting fair access to an open-market economy in Iraq. The ICBC also aims to create a flourishing Iraqi economy by voicing the interests and opinions of business associations in the Iraqi private sector. ICBC members are certain that Canada can play an important role in developing Iraq, not only economically, but also politically because of its multi-ethnicity which resembles Iraq.
